    Day Pack Mini

    The majority of our materials are made from recycled PET bottles. We use a PFC-free, environmentally friendly water-repellency coating on our fabrics. 

    The difference between our fabrics is mainly in the look and feel. Our first fabric (Black and Sand variants) has a rather natural, canvas-like look. It feels thinner.

    In the Sleek Black variant, the fabric has a smooth look. It feels a little thicker and rubbery.

    The Sleek Black is a little easier to clean due to its smooth texture and water rolls off more easily - on the other hand, it is more prone to superficial scratches and dents or cuts, which remain visible in the long term on such smooth fabrics.

    As far as protecting the contents of the backpack from moisture is concerned, there is no difference between the two versions, as both fabrics are waterproof. It is always important to remember that after prolonged exposure to heavy rain, moisture can seep through the seams and zips of backpacks.

    Does the sand colour get dirty easily?
    No, it does not stain easily, however, dark stains are more visible than on the black version. Good to clean. Fine for everyday use. Attach rain cover when exposed to heavy rain, dirt, oil or dust. (read more)

    I just love it

    I love the material, I love the design and it is comfortable to wear. I love it expands and that it has a secret pocket on the top to store precious stuff. I would have enjoyed another pocket on the front to access small items as tissues and mints faster but I am highly satisfied anyways. Super fast shipping with the standard rate.     Day pack mini

    This backpack brand was HIGHLY recommended by @ecofriend.Lia on YouTube. I love her videos, and I love her too! Lia has the original wayks 1 backpack. While her backpack is beautiful, it's on the larger side. So I went for a smaller one, I felt that even the day pack could be too big for me. I went ahead and bought the daypack mini, and when I tell you that I LOVE this backpack, I mean it. I live in Las Vegas, USA, and backpacks are not welcome in most stores. However I haven't had an issue yet with bringing this one in stores. I keep it filled! I carry DAILY: Inside I have my 6inch e-reader, a 16oz refillable water bottle, a reusable bag with 2 smaller ones inside (to use when I grocery shop), a small suede bag holding my electronic chargers , a small leather bag holding my wired earbuds, a HUGE pack of gum, my small makeup bag, a thin reusable journal with its erasable pen, then I have sets of keys and smaller things inside the pockets. Then in the top I keep my small Jean purse that I take out when I'm just quickly going into a store for an item or two. I fit SO MUCH inside this bag, I've also carried my 9.2 inch iPad WITH all the stuff I mentioned above.
    Inside that purse (which is also FILLED) is my wallet, medicine, mini budget binder, my secondary phone, and other set of car keys.

    This is my favorite backpack, I love it so much. It's easy to clean, nice to carry and I love the light beige color too. The roll top I haven't had to use but I love the way it looks <3

    Wayks is great

    I got the Day pack mini just to try out Wayks product, because my idea was getting the whole travel bundle.
    I am enjoying my day pack, I really like the way it is designed, the two openings- for small and bigger size, the pockets, the material, I think that it is a really good product. And as well I like their philosophy - recycling, taking care of the workers, small bussines, etc.
    That´s why I have decided to get all the travel bundle.

    This is a great backpack. It is lightweight, which makes it feel great to wear. It is spacious and has plenty of storage space. I use it all the time. Really great!

    Gutes Konzept aber schlechte Verarbeitung

    Finde das Konzept wie der Rucksack aufgebaut ist super. Die perfekte Größe für den Arbeitsalltag oder Tagesausflüge. Jedoch beginnt ein Träger schon nach ein paar Mal Tragen oben vom Rucksack abzureißen - es ist leider nicht sehr gut vernäht. Hätte mir eine viel bessere Qualität erwartet…

    Es tut uns sehr leid, dass du einen Rucksack mit einem Produktionsfehler erhalten hast. Dafür übernehmen wir natürlich die Verantwortung und haben dir eine Email geschrieben, um die Lösung des Problems zu koordinieren.

    my favorite backpack I've ever owned!

    Okay, so here's a little story time.

    My previous backpack was a real lucky thriftstore find. Just the right size, fit me perfectly and held a lot of my stuff. I loved that thing so much that I used it until it literally fell to pieces. Knowing I needed a new one I went on a search for months for another backpack that ticked all the boxes and was about to give up because everything was either too big, too small, not my style etc.

    That's when I saw a WAYKS ad for this day pack mini. To be honest I loved the sleek, functional design and the fact that it's made from recycled materials. Also, yay small businesses. However, after the many dissapointments on my search, I was hesitant to order it online without trying it on so that took me a few months. All the while still taking my old, raggedy backpack to work (embarrassing!).

    All that to say, I am so happy that I finally went for the WAYKS day pack mini. It is the perfect size for my daily work commute and for day trips to different places. The quality is really good and it feels so sturdy! All the extra pockets inside also make for great organization, which I love. I wish I would've made this purchase sooner and will surely get additional packs for longer travel.

    It might sound like I'm exaggerating, but for me something like a backpack is such a necessary, staple item that it needs to be perfect in order for me to be content and with this beautiful product I'm still happy after owning it for 3 months now.
