I just LOVE my new backpack - perfect for my needs! It fits a lot of „stuff“ and still the contents can be organized!! AND it carries very good on the back - no strain like some other backpacks. The padding is exquisite - well thought through! I
would love to get the day pack mini. When will you have it in black again? All the

I use this backpack for work and city activities. Can’t wait to try it for traveling.
The backpack is so well designed. There is a good compartment for all my stuff. I also use the possibility that allows me to swap straps so easily.
Love this bag! Use it every day. Thanks :)
I had been looking for a new backpack to accomodate all my neccesities for quite a while and am more than happy to have settled with this one. Probably gonna add some extra parts, such as straps on the outside. Worth the higher price.
A really convinient bag!
It wasn‘t an easy decision since the price isn‘t low. But I have not found another backpack with such a modular system. Plus, it is worth the sustainability.
After 9 months of use, I couldn‘t be happier with my choice! Almost everything is smartly designed (e.g. accessing the laptop from the side, perfect for airport security controls) . You can use the backpack for daily trips to work or university, traveling or hiking. It is adaptable for many situations and that‘s what I like the most about it.
I bought the black one and can‘t complain about any dirt. In heavy rain I put it in the rain cover. However, for light rain it is not necessary. The stuff inside stays dry. I can also recommend the mat straps which I often use to easily store a jacket or things like that.
I just ordered the backpack before I moved to the Middle East. My Jordanian friends commented that the backpack made me look like a white anthropologist in the 19th century. Joke asides: it's a lovely backpack with lots of useful pockets and departments. I used it on several flights as a carry-on luggage and it always fit all my stuff. We've done some successful hiking through deserts and canyons together. The only thing I don't like about it is its weight and the fact that it looks dirty quite quickly. Would still give it five stars though because it's doing a good job. Couldn't test it for its waterproofing features yet because there wasn't barely any rain.
Form und Funktion gehen Hand in Hand
its definitely a great bag, and I especially appreciate the care taken to ensure that the supply chain is sustainable/ethical, but I find the clamshell style less useful than I would have thought. It is more often the case that I just want to reach into the bag for something quick, and the clamshell design causes it to sorta spill apart. It's rare that I have enough space to really spread out my bag and open it 'properly' in a clamshell manner.
I do really like the extendable roll-top combined with the 'traditional' entry style tho.
I also find the bottom 'shoe' pocket not so useful. It's awkward to access, and I'd rather just wrap my shoes in a plastic bag and put them in the main pouch.
lastly, I would have liked 1 more easy-access pocket on the outside. Maybe something like the detachable pouch on the TropicFeel shell bag. My partner has the other interlocking bags from Wayks but it seems like a bit of a hassle to attach and detach them.
I also never use the 'light' straps that came with the bag, and they could probably just be omitted imo.
i know that sounds like a lot of negatives, but I still find it a great bag! just a critical type of guy I suppose
